“Inhumane” Mile 2 Prison to be Closed Down says Justice Minister
Mile 2 has widely been condemned as Africa’s hell on earth by detainees fortunate to tell their harrowing stories after escaping it’s clutches. After one such advocate challenged the Justice Minister on the conditions of Mile 2, Hon Dawda A Jallow revealed that the government is advancing plans to construct a new prison and completely shut down the Colonial era prison.
